Gloria Uccello Barretta received her Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1986. She is currently Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Pisa. She has been recipient of research grants from the National Research Council and national PRIN projects. Her scientific interests are in the areas of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, organic stereochemistry, supramolecular chemistry, development of NMR methods for enantiomeric purities determinations, chemoselective and stereoselective interaction of drugs and natural or synthetic macromolecules, development of NMR analysis protocols of complexation phenomena and nanoparticles growth.
