• Synthesis and characterization of new polymers and copolymers (polyesters and polyamides) from renewable sources for several applications (i.e. packaging, cosmetics);
• Synthesis and/or modification of inorganic structures (i.e. layered double hydroxides, montmorillonite, graphene) for multifunctional composites/nanocomposites;
• Preparation and characterization of multifunctional nanocomposites for several applications (i.e. packaging, cosmetics) by in situ polymerization or melt blending;
• Stabilization of thermolabile molecules;
• Biomass waste valorisation in polymeric composites;
• End-of-life of polymers.
