Gaetano Angelici is Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Pisa since 2020, leading the Laboratory “Isymech”, Innovative Synthesis & Medicinal Chemistry”. The research interests of Prof. Angelici focus mainly on the discovery and development of modern synthetic methods in organic chemistry, for the synthesis of biomimetic molecules, able to fold in interesting conformations. A deeper understanding of  their constrained geometry or fluxionality and dynamics, may lead to the development of new materials for biological applications or potentially new drugs in medicinal chemistry.
