Gaetano Angelici is Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Pisa since 2020, leading the Laboratory “SOS &PePSy”, Sustainable Organic Synthesis of bioactive compounds, Peptides &Peptidomimetics”. The research interests of Prof. Angelici focus mainly on the synthesis and conformational studies of molecules with interesting folding and self-assembling properties. The understanding of these processes in molecules and oligomers and the search for more sustainable and efficient synthesis are key features for the development of bioactive compounds and new materials.
